Uniforce Netherlands had several acquisition actions since last year December, included the takeover of Nijmeijer Transport und Logistik GmbH (NTL) in Gronau, Germany, Noordendorp Transport from Haaksbergen and MIGRO Logistics from Zwolle, the Netherlands.
NTL is a specialist in transport to and from France, Spain and Portugal. Noordendorp has a history of more than a hundred years and the predicate Royal Warrant. It specializes in construction logistics, general cargo in the Benelux and Germany, including the transport of hazardous substances. MIRGO focuses on courier delivery, medical and dangerous goods transport. NTL, Noordendorp and MIGRO will continue operate under their own names within Uniforce Netherlands.
Due to the takeover, another 85 employee, 55 trucks, 50 trailers and 25,000 square meters warehouese facilities are added to Uniforce Netherlands. “A lot is coming to our sector, especially large investments,” CEO Gerard ter Brugge says. “By that I mean a switch to using electric trucks. Although there are not yet enough charging piles, which requires a certain scale, you should see this takeover in that orientation.”
