Recently, The Value-Added Logistics Team of Uniforce Netherlands built up 1032 shoe set displays and delivered them to 1032 Albert Heijn supermarkets in the Netherlands for the Sinterklaas celebration.
Sinterklaas, also known as Saint Nicholas, is a traditional festival in the Benelux. The celebration normally starts from the middle of November when Sinterklaas “arrives” by a steamboat. For several weeks, he will parade through the streets on his horse to visit schools, hospitals and shopping centers. On 5 December, children will put a shoe next to the chimney or back door, Sinterklaas will cross the rooftops at the midnight and places little treats or gifts in the children’s shoes. As a part of the celebration, many supermarkets will also collect shoes from children and fill them with cookies and chocolate.
Uniforce can achieve all your logistics demands, doesn’t matter it is freight forwarding or value-added logistics. If you have any requests, please feel free to contact our local offices.
